Asclepio. Revista de Historia de la Medicina y de la Ciencia is a scientific journal published by CSIC and edited by the Instituto de Historia at CCHS. It publishes original papers on the history of science echoing the various historiographic trends in this field of study. It is particularly oriented to Spanish, European, and Latin American science, aiming to an audience specialized in the history of science, but also to variously educated scientists who may find in history elements for epistemological and social reflection in their scientific work.

That year it became an electronic journal publishing in PDF, HTML and XML-JATS. Contents of previous issues are also available in PDF files.
