Sexuality and knowledge: the conquest of the self in the works of Ernesto Sabato

The present research analyzes some fundamental fragments of the works of Ernesto Sabato form the perspective of Jungian Psycology. A comparison is made between the Sabatian text and Jung's writings on alchemy to the purpose of illustrating, through human sexuality, the process of selfawareness and selfappropriation.
