It is the aim of this research to study, in the first place, the way in which Sade is constituted the summit of enlightened thinking and, at the same time, appears as a clear exponent of his deficiencies and ingenuities. Subsequently deeper insight is sought into the way in which in his work sexuality is erected as a source of knowledge, which means penetrating the labyrinth of Sade's pathological philosophy.
