Historical news of paleopathology in Spain

The author of this work carries out a detailed analysis of the origin of paleopathological investigations in Spain, from the 1970s up to 1990, when he finished his research. Firstly he deals with the main academic centres of this discipline (Barcelona, Granada, Madrid, and the Basque Country) in order to study later in detail the editions (books and articles which appeared during these twenty years) developed by paleopathologists - mostly medical doctors - who were dedicated to the development of paleopathology in our country and are already harvesting the fruits on an international stage.
