Abstract

In 1856, at Brazil, were create the first scientific commition with brazilian naturalists only, to do a scientific exploration in the north of the country and collect objects to the Museu Nacional, in Rio de Janeiro. In these paper I made the analysis of the Traveling Instruction of the Geological and Mineralogical Section, written by Guilherme Schüch de Capanema.
