Photography is a widely diffused technique whose lexical apparatus is fundamentally neological. Through the essential texts of photographic divulgation, this study illustrates the evolution of photographic lexis in Spanish since the onset of colour photography, contrasting this with its lexical settling in the principal Spanish dictionaries of the 19th century.
