Don Pedro Laín Entralgo and Hellenists in Madrid. Notes for the History of Greek Philology and Medicine

Laín had friendly relations with some Hellenists in Madrid. Friendship made the collaboration of those easy in the Historia universal de la medicina directed by the first. Disciples of those and pupils of the last ones have cultivated the vaste field of Greek and Roman medicine in various ways: papers, doctoral theses, translations, commentaries, etc. This contribution analyzes concisely the evolution and results generated by those personal and scientific good relations between Laín and some Madrid´s Hellenists who studied in the now called Universidad Complutense.
